I took a tour of the Gospel Mission to see if it would be a good volunter match for me. First of all the Volunteer Coordinator, Hannah Dockweiler who gave the tour was wonderful. I was overwhelmed at all that is done through the love of God at the mission. Everywhere I looked I could see that it was truly a place where lives were being touched by God's love, from how clean and neat all the facilities were to the friendly smiles on the faces of all the people I met. Thanks to Hannah's enthusiasm and testimony about how God is changing lives at the mission I am really looking forward to volunteering there. Blessings, Sue
I would like to say this I'm greatful to the kalamazoo gospel mission for helping me to stay clean and sober, feels good to not be in a daze anymore. Many thanks to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission
I volunteered in the kitchen and found it to be an enlightening experience. The staff was very helpful and the entire process was well-organized. Everyone was thankful for the meal, and you could really see how the mission was helping make a difference.
I would just like to say thank you for letting me stay in the women s shelter when life took its toll on my life as a single mother of two. In return for the great care you took of me and my children, me and my husband would like to donate $1,000.00 Dollars as our thanks to you to use towards the Women's shelter.
I have recently meet someone who informed me of his living situation. It's broke my heart to hear about it until he described to me all the help he is getting and how good it has been for him to be there. I told him I will pray for him every day! I just want to thank Kalamazoo Gospel Mission for changing this man's life. Meeting him and hearing his story sure has changed mine! Your all doing a wonderful thing.. God Bless You! ~Lisa~
