Our auto department provides career opportunities while reselling donated vehicles at low, affordable prices for low-income members of our community.

The building for our auto donations and sales is located directly behind the Mission on the north side of the railroad tracks. Cars and trucks may be donated to the auto department whether they run or not. We can pick up the vehicle that you would like to donate, from you. You will be given a tax-deductible receipt for your donation.

Through our vocational training program, vehicles are assessed for safety, repaired and resold.

You can help our Auto Sale Department by:

1. Donating Your Vehicle
We need your unwanted car or truck. Your donations are what keep our program going. Allowing us to resell your vehicle allows us to use the funds that we make from the sale to provide a safe and warm shelter, food, clothing and job training to the homeless.

2. Donating Tools and Parts
We need your working hand, electric or pneumatic tools; which we can use while working on donated cars. Many car parts from spark plugs to cars that don’t run are also useful to us. If you have any questions on a part or tool you would like to donate, call our auto manager, Rick at 345-2974.

3. Volunteering in our Auto Department
We have many opportunities available in our auto department including mechanical work, general cleaning and organizing, car detailing, data entry and wrecker drivers. If you have a desire to help out in any of these areas please call.

4. Telling A Friend
We have found that the best source of donations come from word of mouth. Would you please tell someone what we do? We appreciate our community and want to help the least, the last and the lost.
