Prep and Serve meals to guests and program members. Oversee organization and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and storage areas under the guidance of the Food Service Manager.
• Supervise, oversee and mentor guests/program members and volunteers who are working in the kitchen during your shift.
• Train volunteers, guest and program members in proper safety and food handling procedures.
Qualifications / Must Be Able To
Ability to produce meals to scale, serving up to and potentially more than 400 meals at a time.
Know how to work a tilt skillet, steamer, oven and other commercial kitchen equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Serv-Safe Certified Preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Possess and promote a drug, nicotine free lifestyle.
