Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries
cordially invites you to the
second annual Resilient Women
Supporting Women Fundraiser
Join us for a unique luncheon where we will hear a timely message on the importance of mental health,
a catered luncheon and a silent auction
from area boutiques and businesses.
This exclusive fundraising event will support and care for the women who enter KGM’s doors. The finances raised at this event will provide ladies experiencing homelessness with a safe place to sleep, support from staff, and most importantly, hope for the future.
So, grab a friend for an enjoyable afternoon and make a difference in the community!
My Name is 'Beloved': God's Mercy in Mental Health Struggles
At Resilient 2023, you'll hear the unforgettable story of Christine Chappell, who experienced God's transforming grace within the walls of a psychiatric hospital. She will share her journey through being diagnosed with a mental disorder, recounting in vivid detail how the Lord mercifully deepened her understanding of what it means to be a beloved child of God.
"After years of trying to 'fix' myself, I finally began to embrace the merciful rest, realistic hope, and meaningful purpose Christ had already given to me," says Christine. "If you know what it's like to feel desperate for change, the talk I'm sharing at Resilient is especially for you." Our prayer is that Christine's testimony will leave you with a fresh sense of joy in the God who redeems and restores, as well as a fresh perspective on what it means to walk with Jesus through some of life's most challenging problems.
